This is the installer for Meloo's fix for Stainless Steel 6.4 with added datatext file fix for steam users
INSTALLATION
It is recommended that you have a clean version of SS6.4, that means no third party submods.
1 - Deactivate any submod with the SS_setup.exeMedieval 2 total war mods

Rome Total War Mods

2 - Run this installer
4 - Before launching the game you must run the SS_setup.exe with no submod selected
(just the mandatory AI option of course) this will finalize the bugfix setup.
5 - Now you can run the SS_setup.exe again, activate any submod you want and play as normal

-Both Early and Late Era starting families edited to include child faction heir/leaders where it would apply, as well as past faction leader distinction where it applies.
-Changed 'has_family_tree no' for 'has_family_tree teutonic' so the teutonic order can be destroyed like any other faction.
-BM.MDB's dismounted_armats_ug1 duplicate renamed to dismounted_armats_ug2 (it could be used as a gothic armour upgrade for dismounted men at arms).
-New Optimized Economy Script by gsthoed, decreases turn times.
-General Campaign Script Optimizations done with gsthoed.
-Removed duplicate entries in export_units.txt.
-Aragon and Genoa Princesses textures edited to differentiate more from each other and from Castille.
-Teutonic Order strat map (Faction Leader and Generals) models and texture tweaked, fixing some minor issues they had.

there is 1 free slot for a new unit now.
-New Seljuks Turks stratmap settlements flag consistent with the rest included in the mod.
-Palanga name changed to Twangste, the real historical name of the pagan fortress located in that place before being
destroyed by the Teutonic Order and rebuilt as Konigsberg, real Palanga is several Km to the NE of that location.
Added the code that does the renaming of the settlement once is captured by the Teuntons.

- Edited models for Heavy Mail Light Men at Arms (just have a beefier torso to represent extra mail thickness like Spearmen Sergeants)
- Extra miscellaneous corrections in BattleModels.modeldb, fixing stuff like mismatching normal maps and etc.
- Sicily Early Era Starting Forces fix, Mailed Knights replaced by Norman Cavalry (Miles).
- Miscellaneous text tweaks.
- Updated 2TPY submod, now reduces settlements income a 25% and halves religious conversion rates, slowing down the game pace.
- Further Campaign Script improvements.
- More Historical tweaks for Late era starting families.
- 'Disable RR AoR on' Dismounted Ghulams not available for egypt fix.

The admin version looks as if you ran the file from the wrong directory.

Given the number of fixes it is unlikely that it is save game compatible

Forgive the noob when it comes to mods here, but is Stainless Steel basically a merge of Kingdoms - minus Americas - with the Vanilla + added buildings, or is it even more?

    @Michael VPS Yeah I had the Kingdoms expansion awhile back, I played as the Teutons though, crushing the pagans and the poles lol. I thought their winged helmets looked the coolest.
    this was Before I got the steam version of the whole game though, once it stopped working for some reason I deleted and got the steam version of vanila med 2 but never got round to buying the kingdoms expansion again. I guess I will though. this SS mod sounds very good

    @LouisKing995 Don't I know it. Being Danish I was hoping for some badass, Gaul-like speeches.
    Something like 'Sons of the Wolf and the Bear', and such..Well, at least they have some nice ladder-at-the-walls notices.
    Yeah you need Kingdoms for it, but even Kingdoms in itself is more than worth the price. Especially the Teutonic campaign, though I may be biased (again: Dane)
    Still, there's nothing quite as satisfactory as watching Gotland Footmen, or Norse Axemen chopping down a Teutonic knight.

    @Michael VPS Yeah their speeches were different for the most part, they just sounded the same as the Italians which was a bit annoying :/ then again, The creative assembly is fairly lazy with its accent groupings. The Russians, Poles, Hungarians and even the Danes all sounded the same in vanilla Med 2. Berthold akzidenz font. As did the Moors, Turks, Egyptians. Its not surprise that they'd group the Italians and Byzantines together I suppose :/.
    Do I need the Kingdoms expansion for SS to work?

    @LouisKing995 I never played any of the Greek factions, so I don't actually know..
    I know they have some pretty nasty speeches against both the papal states, Genoa and Venice though.
    And if you survive long enough, Byzantium has the best pikemen in the game. Armor like fully upgraded Spear Militias, and can pretty much cut through anything.

    Organner cs 1.6 cracked. You should consider to submit your own serial numbers or share other files with the community just as someone else helped you with Counter Strike 1.6 CD Keys Original serial number.
